Background volume adjuster for Windows. If you are tired of reminding kids to reduce the PC speakers' volume when they are playing video games, this little tool will do the trick another way. It runs in the background and adjusts the volume to the level you choose when you set it up. Adjusted will be the "Wave Sound" audio that you see in the volume control applet of MS Windows. This is what PC games are using normally. After downloading the ZIP file, you have to extract the EXE file it contains and put it to a directory of your choice - it's only one file. I recommend that you put it into "Program Files" folder or some new folder under the "Program Files". To set it up to be started automatically, launch it, set the slider to the desired volume level (in percent) and click the button "Setup with the path above". This "path above" is shown in the bold type and it corresponds to the folder where you put the EXE plus the EXE file name appended.
After clicking "Setup", close the window of click "Exit". On the next start of the system the application will load and will keep running in background (invisible). If you don't want it to run anymore, launch the application, click "Switch autostart off", and then exit the application. After doing that, you can delete the EXE file from where you put it.
